  • I offer individual outpatient psychotherapy. That means we see each other once or twice a week for sessions in my office or via secure telehealth. While I’m happy to book a “teamwork session” with your loved ones to share your progress, offer education, and help your support system support you, I do not conduct family or couples’ therapy.

  • I am paneled with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and am otherwise private pay. I’m always willing to provide superbills or work with your out of network benefits. My rate is $120/50 minute session. If finances are a barrier for you, I’d be happy to chat about sliding scale availability.

  • My in-person clients see me in Chesterfield/Bon Air area. If you’re looking to do telehealth, you can be anywhere in the state of Virginia as a Virginia resident. Unfortunately, if you live in another state, I can’t see you as a client but wish you well in your recovery and hope you find a great fit for your therapy needs.

  • Since my schedule is made for/by/with my clients, your therapy hour is set aside for you. With that in mind, my cancellation policy is 48 hours since 24 is not enough time to alter mine or other clients’ schedules. Obviously, life happens and there are exceptional emergencies. Outside of those, please send me a text or email at least 48 hours prior to the session you’re cancelling, otherwise your session fee will still be charged for that hour.

  • If you’re late, you’re late. Send me a text or email to let me know when you can. If it bumps into someone else’s session, I won’t be able to extend your time to still give us a full hour of session. If it doesn’t, I’m happy to go over a little bit to get you as close to that full hour of therapy time as I can. Sessions won’t be prorated for lateness but it’s therapy not school, so there are no penalties.

  • If it’s something schedule related, feel free to use either text or email (all in the contact tab). If it’s something more personal that you’re wanting help with between sessions please always call 911 or go to your nearest ER if you’re in a crisis or unsure if you can keep yourself safe. If it’s something that contains protected health information of yours, please send via email not via text. It’s all confidential but only email is fully encrypted. As far as availability between our sessions, we can chat more about what that support looks like in session or in your consultation.
